In 2014, JCW Acoustic Supplies has manufactured and supplied 7250m2 of JCW Impacta 4551 (3mm) to Titan Interior Solutions for Vinci Construction’s Student Accommodation Project at the former Odeon Cinema in Nottingham.

The Project, which was supplied with Impacta 4551 from 02/01/14 to 04/09/14 is a 15 Storey Student Accommodation Redevelopment comprising of a 15-storey tower with basement car parking, 3 ground floor retail units, and 449 student bedrooms on the upper floors, including 401 en-suite bedrooms in cluster flats and 48 self-contained studio units. The property is located in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

The age of the building meant that Impact Noise in between each floor was excessive, so Titan Interior Solutions chose to use the Impacta 4551 (3mm) due to it’s easy installation and providing an 18dB reduction in Impact Noise.

The Project has now been completed with the last delivery of Impacta 4551 being back in early September and we can now say that the project has been a great success.
